Photos from the public examination of Aleksi’s doctoral dissertation (on August 29, 2008) are available in the image gallery. The dissertation is available online on the website of the University of Helsinki.

It has been quiet, too quiet, lately. No major updates this time either, and there likely won’t be any for some time. However, since the Renamer project has been nearly ready for a release for quite a long time, I will probably make the few remaining changes and make it available. There might also be some news on the status of the ROG, but no promises yet. 🙂

Sorry for the recent lack of updates, but my time has been quite limited lately, and updating my homepage is not-too-high on my priority list nowadays. (not that there has been that much news to report anyway) Nevertheless, I’ll try to take some time during the Holiday Season and make some much needed updates, both to this homepage and my plans for the future of ROG(O).

This is my first update from Helsinki, my first week here has been extremely busy, but things are finally starting to calm down a little. I will try to get back to working on ROG soon, as my time between studies permits.

Sorry for the recent lack of updates, but I’m starting my studies in the Helsinki University of Technology in less than a two weeks’ time and there are a lot of things to be taken care of before that. Unfortunately this also means I don’t have much time to work on ROG or to update this homepage. I’m hoping that things get back to normal ASAP, but until then, updates will be less frequent than usual.

First of all, greetings from Assembly 2001, it’s pretty cool here, even though we are having some network problems right now. (anyway, a gigabit Internet connection rocks 🙂 )

As you can see, I’ve finally gotten back to working on ROG at full speed. I’m trying to keep this up for at least few weeks more, but I’m starting my studies in the Helsinki University of Technology in September, which will probably slow things down, at least momentarily.
